The Next Chapter Bookstore,

is operated by Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County and is the only bookstore in Fredonia.  Located next door to our Education Center and across the street from Bakers Commons, we are easy to find at 12 Park Place, Fredonia.

Our charming used bookstore has 1000s of books including: children's books, fiction, non-fiction, history, politics, mystery, romance, and young adult.  Everyone is sure to be inspired to curl up and get lost in a good book.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from book sales directly fund literacy programs. Reflecting our belief that literacy should be accessible to all, our bargain books are affordably priced. For just a few dollars, you can get a book and help change someone’s life.

The bookstore also hosts musicians, artists and book club meetings.  Check our Upcoming Events on the Home Page or our Facebook page.

Vintage & Rare Books
We receive hundreds of donated books each month and many of those books are vintage or even rare.  When these books come into the bookstore, our team goes to work researching, evaluating and pricing the books.
We keep a few of these vintage books in The Next Chapter Bookstore.  Others are sold online in our Ebay store.  In both cases, all proceeds directly benefit the programs at LVCC.
